Getting from the airport to Ålesund
The airport bus service is synchronized with arriving and departing flights. Take the bus to the town center. The current fare is NOK 75, and the bus takes 25 minutes.Another possibility is to go by taxi, the fare is ca NOK 380 (not reimbursable).
Hotel reservation and payment
If your name is on the list of participants , and you have emailed your arrival and departure information to me before April 20, you will have a reservation in the hotel. On departure you pay only for extra costs like accompanying persons, telephone, bar tabs etc.The Coastal Steamer
It is possible to combine the visit to Ålesund with a boat trip through the scenic fjords by taking the coastal steamer for instance from or to Bergen or Trondheim. For more information, see here
