The symposium was the second in the new series of Abel symposia. It was held on the occasion of Kiyosi Itô's 90th birthday and was devoted to his work and its further developments and applications. Distinguished researchers in stochastic analysis and applications from all over the world were invited to participate in the celebration of this exciting and active research field, together with the presentation and discussion of future developments.
