Information for applicants
From 2005 the application procedure will consist of two parts:

Pre-application. For an Abel Symposium to be held in the year X+2,
applicants should send an application draft to Norsk matematisk forening by email
no later than 15 September in the year X.
A pre-application should be brief and only contain information about the
applicants, foreign co-organizers, scientific profile, and possibly names of
key invitees.
- Complete Application. Norsk matematisk forening invites one of the
groups that submitted a pre-application to submit a complete application.
For an Abel Symposium to be held in the year X+2, the applicants should send
their complete application to Norsk matematisk forening no later than
15 November in the year X. For further details about what is required, see
